Departing from the La Grave cable car, you will begin on one of these 2 peaks:

The Peak of La Grave
The West Rateau.
These 2 climbs are ideal for beginners. Mixture of different facets of mountaineering, glacier approach followed by easy rock climbing before setting foot on a beautiful summit at over 3600m and a 360° view.
It takes between 2h30 and 3h30 of ascent and 2h of descent. ​

Discovery over 2 days with night in a refuge

Mountaineering is also the atmosphere of the refuge, a nocturnal departure under the stars. After checking the bags and the gear, we will go up together to the refuge.
This will be an opportunity to get to know each other and, if the terrain lends itself to it, to practice a bit of technique and discover the equipment.
After the evening and the night at the refuge, we will leave with a headlamp for the summit. ​
Price: €720 (2 guide days) + Hut fees for you and the guide.
Discovery over 3 days and more

From 3 days, we will immerse ourselves for several days in the high mountains to discover the different facets of mountaineering.

Example: 3 days around the Selle hut (Massif des Ecrins)

D1 Ascent of the Pic de La Grave from the cable car of the same name.
D2 South ridge of the Rateau Est or Tête sud du Replat depending on the form and level of the participants.
D3 Rateau Ouest by the Girose corridor or by a short rocky route on the South face. ​
